About
This website, Internet-Computer-Security.com, was founded in 2008 and was created to educate end users on IT security. The main focus of the website is covering technical security topics which include, firewall, VPN and Spam, but extends across other areas within IT.
Author
The author has worked for various IT companies throughout the UK. The author's roles have included IT security consultation, pre-sales and post-sales support, design & deployment of networking security technologies, for approx. over the past fifteen years.
Within majority of the projects the author has worked on, the author has worked within a team and has built large data centre environments for high profile customers.
The author has worked with a wide range of security products and solutions, but in recent years, has worked heavily on the design and deployment of network firewalls within on premise data centres, in the cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
Currently, the author is certified by a number of governing bodies including, ISC2 (CISSP), Cisco (CCNP), Check Point (CCSE), Palo Alto (PCNSE), Juniper (Various certification), amongst a few others.
The author has had experience working with many other vendor technologies, and has held many other previous certifications including, Fortinet's FCNSP, Barracuda Technical Trainer, Symantec, Skybox, Websense, Mcafee, Sophos, Sonic and others.
